July 23, 2015The Silverton Northern Railroad Committee is working towards placing up to 300 feet of track this summer on the recently constructed grade near the Powerhouse. This stretch of track will serve as an interpretive center for the historic line.

16 Years Ago July 1, 2010A truck driver relying on a GPS navigation system figured the best way to haul a load of packing material to Lake City would be over Cinnamon Pass late Wednesday night, July 23. To his credit, he actually made it to Animas Forks before getting hung up on a culvert.

Hardrock 100 Holds Happy Hour/Giveaway Event in Silverton

The Hardrock 100 Endurance Race Director, Dale Garland, held a happy hour and giveaway event on the newly renovated rooftop of the Coffee Bear on Sunday, and about 40 people attended. It was a mix of local Hardrockers, regional Hardrockers, volunteers, and supporters of Hardrock.
