Kudos to town for move on the outdoor dining; now let’s cut the plastic Editor; I applaud the Town of Silverton leadership in their efforts to think outside of the box regarding outdoor dining areas during the Colorado Safer-at-Home order in effect.

Summer Solstice

Summer is here at last. The sun rises just above Kendall’s crown and arches high over our valley on its westward journey, giving us a long, perfect day with skies of deep cerulean blue and air so clear and dry that each tall spruce stands out along the horizon.

A season full of surprises

This season is full of surprises, June began warm the way late April and May had already been. This weather week began on the third with 75. Another clear day followed with 76.6. Then for another hottest day so far in a row, Friday was 77.7.

Spring has sprung
