I have read with dismay the article about the potential development and expansion of the Kendall Mountain Ski Area by wealthy developers.....a VERY alarming proposal.

I wanted to humbly thank the town of Silverton and the Silverton Voluntary Fire Department for the monetary donations. Since last October, I have been struggling with some health problems that have affected my ability to work.

Living the Dream in Silverton

Wednesday -9.8 degrees bottom out. Clear and calm early with northwest wind in the afternoon and 38.6 degree high. Thursday -0.6 degrees bottom out. Clear and almost completely calm all day. 42.4 degree high, pur warmest this week. Friday -9.6 bottom out. Clear and calm mostly.

Moose on the Loose

Wednesday December 30th our temperature bottomed out at -15.6 degrees coming up two degrees at 7 a.m. The valley floor was clear and still with snow plumes on the peaks. 27.6 degree high with a few cirrus clouds by sunset. Thursday -8.4 degrees bottom out.
