High water mark is about the literal outcome of having 6 days in a row, measurable, beginning on my father's birthday (September 14th) and continuing through the 19th. We had only .43 measured prior to this event and now we are at 3.38! Surfing the Animas, or as my next-door neighbor prefers- kayaking the River of Souls- was far more fun than what passed for 'spring runoff'!
