To the Editor, Recently, our community gathered to recognize five people who have spent the better part of their lives looking out for San Juan County: Anthony Edwards, Bruce Conrad, Jeff Shea, Ken Safranski, and Beverly Rich. In a place as small and remote as ours, community doesn't just happen. It is built by people making a daily choice to carry a heavy load for their neighbors.
