Folks, it’s just it just ain’t summer anymore up here in the polar hamlet! This is the first weather week with no days above the 30s and every night below 0 except for two, which felt like it! Clouds sneaking overhead when it was dark cost us beating out the competition for being the coldest place in Colorado. However, it will be a long winter -out ahead-so. Here’s hoping!
We began the week with a 5.5-inch storm (with more elsewhere in town) and then had 6.7 inches that I measured Monday into Tuesday. We practice conscious generosity.
Up here in Silverton, we look out for each other. We are glad to give and grateful to receive. Just like breathing! If you have lived here all your life- I’m preaching to the choir! If you are new around here- don’t be bashful. Get to know your neighbors- which all of us are! Conscious generosity: giving and receiving- out and in-so go, give it a go!
