We would like to give a big thank you to the Silverton Volunteer Fire Department

for their quick response to the Eagle’s Nest fire. Their professionalism in attacking

and putting the fire out quickly saved the surrounding businesses from even more

damage and kept the fire from spreading to surrounding buildings. It takes a lot

of guts to enter a burning building to put a dangerous fire out.…
