Last DSNGRR daily train to Silverton was Saturday for Summer 2025 season

Last Saturday November 1st was the last daily train into Silverton for the Summer Season of 2025. This year the DSNGRR ran the train an entire extra week which made the town very lively for Halloween week.

Governor Polis made two appointments in the 6th Judicial District. Governor Polis appointed R. Reid Stewart to the 6th Judicial District Court. The vacancy is occasioned by the retirement of the Honorable Chief Judge Jeffrey R. Wilson and is effective January 2, 2026.

Silverton had the most active Halloween in decades! The DSNGRR train ran an extra week therefore many of the businesses and restaurants were still open while the Trick or Treaters started early in the afternoon and roamed the neighborhoods and store fronts for treats.
