Durango Community Stakeholder was Sunday’s Fatality on Red Mountain

On Sunday, December 14, 2025, at approximately 11:31 a.m., Silverton Medical Rescue received an emergency alert of an unresponsive 63-year-old male in the backcountry who has been identified as a Durango community stakeholder, Michael Goldman.
