Town of Silverton Trustees offer Elizabeth Stuffings Town Administrator position

The Town of Silverton Board of Trustees made the announcement at last Monday night’s regular meeting that they have extended a job offer to Elizabeth Stuffings of New Mexico and have entered into a contract negotiation for the Town of Silverton Administrator position with the finalist.

Last Wednesday January 7th, Colorado’s 6th Judicial District Chief Judge Kim Shropshire swore in Silverton and San Juan County resident Kelly J. Tompkins as the Colorado 6th Judicial District San Juan County Judge.

The Region 9 Economic Development District of Southwest Colorado (Region 9 EDD) welcomes Ricardo Arrieta as their new Commercial Loan Officer. Ricardo has loan experience through his work at the Southern Ute Indian Tribe and had a long tenure at Wells Fargo Bank in Durango.

Silverton local doctors, Dr. David Brown and Dr. Yvonne Naughton, opened their medical clinic just a year ago, on the 6th of January 2025, inside the San Juan County Miner’s Hospital, located at 1315 Snowden St in Silverton.
