EPA Update About the Gold King Mine Sludge Repository

The Environmental Protection Agency recently gave a brief update on the status of the repository for the Gold King mine waste, aka “sludge,” being produced and mitigated out in Gladstone ever since the Gold King Mine incident in 2015.

The 4,000 foot aerial tramway line now under construction to handle the product of the Old Hundred properties will be completed before the dawn of the new year if no unforeseen delay occurs.
