Silverton Mourns After the Tragic Mama Bear Accident

Last week on Tuesday night, September 3rd, the Mama Bear, who had been bringing her two cubs into town on a daily basis, was accidentally mortally wounded with a bean bag shot by a San Juan County Deputy Sheriff who was trying to haze her from the alley behind Handlebars restaurant.
