Concrete has been poured for the Kendall Mt. Community Center Building. The project’s supervisor, Mark Johnson, suffered a fall last week, but was able to continue working toward completing the foundation on schedule.

Last Wednesday, the Department of Energy announced that Silverton was 1 of 33 communities around the nation that was awarded the phase two prize of $200,000 from the Energizing Rural Communities Program.
