After years of negotiations, San Juan County finally closed the deal for Sunnyside Gold Lands during the October 9, 2024 SJC BOCC meeting. At the meeting, a feeling of success filled the room as SJC Commissioners and representatives watched Chair Austin Lashley sign the final documents to secure the Sunnyside Gold Lands on behalf of San Juan County.
