Over on Blair Street, Mike Geryak has been tinkering with a demonstration model of a solar-powered street lamp with an old-fashioned look. He put much of it together from materials scavenged from the dump, and it looks pretty good.
The Silverton Youth Center would like to thank Mark Garvin and Sharon Zimmerman for all their help and support.
